COOKIE POLICY

This Privacy Policy relates to the site modern-machinery.sdfdealer.com ('Site') and is provided by SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Italia SpA with registered office in Viale Francesco Cassani 15 - 24047 Treviglio (BG) - Italy, Tax Code/VAT No. 00778780163 ('SDF Italia') and by MODERN MACHINERY FOR TRADING, with registered office in KM 28 PO BOX 12311 CAIRO ALEX DESER, Tax Code/VAT No. 487-068-777, (the 'Dealer') pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 ('GDPR').

It is understood that where the Dealer's local regulations provide for different and/or specific methods and/or times of storage of personal data, the Dealer shall make known to Data Subjects all necessary information on the processing of their personal data.

  1. What are cookies

A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to their terminal (computer, mobile device such as smartphones or tablets), where it is stored and then transmitted to that site on a subsequent visit to the same site.

By using cookies, the Site can identify users accessing the Site to improve the browsing experience of the identified user. To prevent the storage of cookies on their terminal and browser, a user must disable them.

  1. Types of cookies

Cookies are distinguished, first of all, based on who installs them on the user's terminal. Cookies may be installed by the manager of the site visited (so-called 'first-party cookies') or by a different site, which installs cookies through the first site (so-called 'third-party cookies').

Cookies can also be distinguished according to their functions. In particular, there may be:

  • Technical cookies. These can be either session cookies (i.e.cookies that are automatically deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies, which are used to remember information used between two separate logins. These cookies are used solely to enable the user's navigation or to provide a service requested by the user. They recall information that the user provides while browsing the Site pages. They include, for example, cookies that enable a purchase, that allow authentication to restricted areas, or that store the language and nationality selected by the user when visiting the Site. This category also includes third-party analytical cookies (i.e. Google Analytics) for which data minimisation measures have been applied to significantly reduce their identifying power, so as to preclude them from directly identifying the person concerned (so-called single out). These cookies are used exclusively to produce aggregate statistics.
  • Analytical Cookies. These make it possible to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how they move around the site while using it. This helps to improve the functioning of the Site, for example, by ensuring that users easily find what they are looking for.
  • Profiling cookies. These can be either first-party or third-party and are used to analyse the interests and browsing habits of individual users to personalise their browsing and deliver, for example, content, including advertising, targeted at particular interests.

Profiling and analytical cookies require the user's prior consent for their installation, whereas the installation of technical cookies does not require any prior consent.
